2nd Annual Church School Picnic - 09/10/06

Our 2006-2007 Church School year began on Sunday, September 10th with a picnic at the parish rectory.  Over 135 people came together for a beautiful afternoon of Christian fellowship and fun!  We thank God for such a beautiful day, and thank the parishioners and friends of our parish for their participation!

Divine Liturgy Celebrated by His Beatitude, Metropolitan HERMAN - 10/23/05

Our parish was blessed by a visit from His Beatitude, Metropolitan HERMAN on Sunday, October 23, 2005!   The faithful of our parish were pleasantly suprised this day as His Beatitude led our parish in the celebration of the Divine Liturgy, visited with our Church School children, and enjoyed a special birthday celebration in honor of Matushka Jessica.  We extend our sincerest thanks to our beloved Metropolitan for visiting with us this day!  EIS POLLA ETI DESPOTA! The Sisterhood of St. Barbara's Annual St. Nicholas Day Fish Dinner - 12/02/05

Our Sisterhood of St. Barbara hosted their Annual St. Nicholas Day Fish Dinner on Friday, December 2nd.  Over 150 people gathered for an evening of fellowship and enjoyed a delicious fish & chips dinner provided by The Argyle Restaurant.  We extend our deepest gratitude to the members of our Sisterhood for their dedication and hard work in making this year's event such a resounding success!  To everyone who came out this evening in support of our parish...WE THANK YOU!

Radio City Christmas Spectacular - 11/13/05

We are pleased to announce that our bus trip to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular in N.Y.C. was truly a wonderful event!  Many of the parishioners and friends of Holy Apostles Church-Saddle Brook, NJ joined us for a day of Christian fellowship and fun.  Following the show, everyone gathered in our Fr. Lucas Fellowship Hall for a buffet dinner.

We thank everyone for their support of this event!

Baptism of Nicholas Wolfson - 08/27/05

We congratulate Kevin and Nicole Wolfson as their son Nicholas was Baptized with Water and the Spirit on Saturday, August 27,2005!  As Nicholas begins his life in Christ, may our Lord bless him, preserve him, and keep him in His loving care...always!  MANY YEARS!

Lenten Mission - 04/02/06

Our parish  hosted a Lenten Mission on Sunday, April 2, 2006.  The clergy and faithful from throughout the Northern New Jersey area came together for an evening of Christian worship and fellowship.  We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to the Spirit of Orthodoxy Choir for singing the responses this evening...and to our Sisterhood of St. Barbara for preparing the wonderful dinner!

1st Annual Church School Picnic - 09/18/05

To formally open the 2005 Church School year, Fr.
